Pluk van de Petteflet by Fiep Westendorp

Postcard IDNL-4028393
Country: Netherlands

Tow-Truck Pluck is a children's book by Dutch writer Annie M.G. Schmidt. First published in 1971, it remains in print and is one of the most popular Dutch books for children, and the second most popular book by Schmidt (after Jip and Janneke). A radio drama based on the book was produced in 2002, and a movie in 2004. The cover of Pluk (all drawings are by Schmidt's regular illustrator, Fiep Westendorp) is used to illustrate the article about Schmidt on the website of the "Canon of the Netherlands," and Pluk got his own stamp in 1999.

By the way, about stamps. Here we have 2 new stamps:
 * 2003. Water in Netherlands

Love without rules

Postcard IDUA-1393619
Country: Ukraine

Here is quite cute card, it's like an illustration to Madagascar movie :)
Also is discovered a new artist's name for me - Natalia Maroz.

Here is a quote from her website:

Reading and drawing have always been my passions and my particular love for poetry had a great impression on my work. I treat a line in a linocut as a line in a verse - both should be sharp and precise. Like a short piece of poetry can say more with less words than a long novel, a graphic image, laconic and powerful, can convey much "on a limited budget". Uniting strong concepts and expressive graphics, I create visual metaphors with multiple layers of meaning

The Imperial Palace, Vienna

Postcard IDAT-257048
Country: Austria

I visited Vienna in October, 2010. The city impressed me, so beautiful, soold and so modern at the same time. All these amazing Palaces, parks and so on. Everyone falls in love with Vienna when visits it :)

Hofburg Palace is the former imperial palace in the centre of Vienna. Part of the palace forms the official residence and workplace of the President of Austria. Built in the 13th century and expanded in the centuries since, the palace has housed some of the most powerful people in European and Austrian history, including monarchs of the Habsburg dynasty, rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It was the principal imperial winter residence, as Schönbrunn Palace was their summer residence.

Numerous architects have executed work at the Hofburg as it expanded, notably the Italian architect-engineer Filiberto Luchese (the Leopoldischiner Trakt), Lodovico Burnacini and Martino and Domenico Carlone, the Baroque architects Lukas von Hildebrandt and Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach (the Reichschancelry Wing and the Winter Riding School), Johann Fischer von Erlach (the library), and the architects of the grandiose Neue Burg built between 1881 and 1913.

Also the postcard contains nice stamp with macaron dessert, however I haven't found the info about the issue name and a year:

Everyone can present a bouquet of flowers, but a bouquet of colours is someting a bit unusual! Especially for the person like me who learns drawing, its colours and materials :)
