It's so nice to describe summer card in the autumn evening :) me and my husband are fans of  grilled fish.

Sardines are a common type of fish consumed by humans, as sardines are rich in nutrients. They are commonly served in cans, but fresh sardines are often grilled, pickled or smoked.

Sardines, or pilchards, are several types of small, oily fish related to herrings, family Clupeidae. The term sardine was first used in English during the early 15th century, and may come from the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, around which sardines were once abundant.

Sardines are commercially fished for a variety of uses: for bait; for immediate consumption; for canning, drying, salting, or smoking; and for reduction into fish meal or oil. The chief use of sardines is for human consumption, but fish meal is used as animal feed, while sardine oil has many uses, including the manufacture of paint, varnish and linoleum.

The Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument is the largest single area dedicated to conservation in the United States and one of the largest in the world. This is a home to over 7000 marine species, a quarter of which are found nowhere else on Earth. The Waikiki Aquarium offers visitors the opportunity to see a living reef ecosystem representative of that found in the world's most isolates islands.

Fish. Painter Anton Gorcevich

This strange fish with trees on its back is painted by Russian painter Anton Gorcevich.

Anton was born on August 16, 1974, in Smolensk. In 1990 he moved to Tver and graduated to the Venezianov art college.
Since 2004 Anton is a member of Assosiation of Free Artists of St.Petersburg. The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Smolensk, Tver, St.Petersburg and in the State Duma of The Russian Federation.
Anton works in different genres, but prefers fantasy.

When I received this card I found it really funny :)

Now I've tried to search this picture with better quality (as my scanner is not good enough) and saw that this picture was used in Wiskas advertisement :)

I really like this incredible card. The sender write that she got the card at the semester student exhibitions at the Munich Art Academy. If I live in Munich I would attend these exhibitions very often :)
