Lithuanian post

Postcard IDLT-489356
Country: Lithuania

Lithuania is a bit special country for Belarusians and Vilnius is a bit special city. We need 3-4 hours to reach the city and walk in the old part of it. When I visited Vilnius I bought several postcards there, but sent them from Minsk. Next time I definetely should send some cards to my special friends from the city.
Hello from Vilnius! :)

Also the country changed their official money to euro last year. That's why I see the stamp from series 'Introduction of Euro' on the backside of the card :)

Flowers of tree

Postcard IDLT-389979
Country: Lithuania

I'm not good in botany, so cannot identify by flowers what is the tree. Maybe, cherry or apple?
However I really love the time when trees are in bloom. Even in the big city this flavor stands out among all the other.

Here is also an interesting stamp with retro machine:

Tenderness

Postcard IDLT-307083
Country: Lithuania

This is a postcard that shows ideal spring/summer morning. A cup of coffee (in my case - tea), chocolate and music are great way to start a day with positive mood. I like all postcard with this theme, as we say here "vanilla themes".

On this card I really like post stamp. Belarus in different period of times was a part of Lithuania, then Poland, then Russia. So we have many common symbols, events, people. And this stamp is like reminder for me: we are one.

1410 year - The Battle of Grunwald, was my examination question on the History of Belarus courses on my school exams :)

Temple Bar, Dublin

Postcard IDLT-344478
Country: Lithuania

It's a little strange to receive card with Irish Pabs from Lithuania :) However, it's already interesting to know something new.

Temple Bar is an area on the south bank of the River Liffey in central Dublin, Ireland. Unlike the areas surrounding it, Temple Bar has preserved its medieval street pattern, with many narrow cobbled streets. It is promoted as "Dublin's cultural quarter" and has a lively nightlife that is popular with tourists.

The area is the location of many Irish cultural institutions, including the Irish Photography Centre (incorporating the Dublin Institute of Photography, the National Photographic Archives and the Gallery of Photography), the Ark Children's Cultural Centre, the Irish Film Institute, incorporating the Irish Film Archive, the Temple Bar Music Centre, the Arthouse Multimedia Centre, Temple Bar Gallery and Studio, the Project Arts Centre, the Gaiety School of Acting, IBAT College Dublin, as well as the Irish Stock Exchange and the Central Bank of Ireland.

After dark, the area is a major centre for nightlife, with many tourist-focused nightclubs, restaurants and bars. Pubs in the area include The Porterhouse, the Oliver St. John Gogarty, the Turk's Head, the Temple Bar, Czech Inn (in the former Isolde's Tower), the Quays Bar, the Foggy Dew and the Purty Kitchen (formerly Bad Bobs).

This is the stamp:

Chocolate is the new black

Postcard IDLT-333011EE-180568
Country: Lithuania, Estonia

Chocolate is my religion :)
Most of all I like milk chocolate, however I know that black chocolate is more useful.
As you see this card came to me from Lithuania. I love their chocolate Pergale. Recommend it!

As I received one more copy of this card, but from another country, here are some amazing additional stamps from Estonia:

Herd of horses

Postcard ID: LT-311343
Country: Lithuania

I really like horses. I think that they are one from the most beautiful animals. However I have never ridden on horseback.
Also this is the first black and white postcard in this blog :)

Lithuanian stamp is incredible:
